Carl is the CEO of Pascal Technologies. His interest in the ocean and technology led him to pursue a PhD in maritime engineering at NTNU. Carl has more than a decade of experience in shipping, starting in 2010 working on an iron ore carrier. Before joining Pascal, Carl worked as a management consultant for BCG, with the shipping team. Carl is a technology optimist and a strong believer that technology will play a crucial role in creating a better future.

Markus is the Chief Commercial Officer at Pascal Technologies, responsible for driving business development, leading client relationships, and overseeing product strategy and delivery. He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU. Before joining Pascal, Markus worked as a management consultant at BCG. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventures, playing sports, and learning the piano.

Per leads the technical department at Pascal. He holds a MSc in marine cybernetics from NTNU, and has extensive experience of product- and technology development in the maritime industry. Originally from the south coast, Per loves spending time at the sea sailing, swimming or simply relaxing.

Erik is the CFO, overseeing all financial aspects of the company. He holds a master’s degree in economics from NHH and has extensive experience from investment banking. Outside of work, Erik enjoys sports and is an avid skier.

Silje is responsible for marketing and HR at Pascal. She holds an MSc in industrial economics from NTNU and has prior experience as a management consultant from Accenture. Silje enjoys various crafts, particularly ceramics, and loves spending time throwing cups and bowls.

Jesper leads the software department at Pascal. He holds an MSC in cybernetics and robotics from NTNU and has previous experience from Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace working with software and architecture for remote controlled airport control towers and camp protection systems, including image recognition and sensor fusion systems. Jesper enjoys spending time outdoors, running, kayaking and cross-country skiing.

Daniel is head of performance at Pascal. He holds an MSc in marine technology from NTNU and has experience from working with shipping at DNV. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time riding his bike and hitting the golf course, and fiddling around with data science and programming projects.

Olav leads the company’s R&D activities. He holds a MSc in marine technology from NTNU and has previous experience as a Naval Architect and structural engineer in DNV and Inocean. Olav loves chess and music, and enjoys time with his ensemble when possible..!

Christian is responsible for sales at Pascal. He has worked with sales for more than 10 years, and prior to joining Pascal he worked at Volvo Penta and Brunswick. Outside the office Christian enjoys activities such as downhill skiing.

Atle is responsible for power distribution and wiring onboard our vessels. He holds a B.Sc in applied computer science and a B.Sc as electrical engineer, and has a since specialized in EV charging through his experience from DEFA and Circle K's charging networks. Atle has a passion for EVs and EBs (Electric Boats), and has even built his own electric boat in his spare time.

As Design lead, Emiel works with all aspects of ship design, from stability and 3d design to hydrodynamics. He likes to work together with boat builders to integrate Pascal’s hull and systems in their vessel. He holds a B.Sc in Aerospace engineering, and a M.Sc in Naval architecture from Delft University of Technology, and has previously worked at Heesen Yachts and Eker Design/Hydrolift. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and hiking

Maria is a part of our software team, where she contributes to the entire stack. She holds a M.Sc. in cybernetics and robotics from NTNU, specializing in embedded systems. In addition to being an exceptional programmer, Maria is a skilled volleyball player and has won the national championship three times.

Henrik works as an engineer and he is an expert in electric propulsion systems and associated control systems. He also enjoys working with product development and taking products from prototype to completion. Henrik holds an M.Sc. in electrical engineering from NTNU and has previous experience researching magnetic bearings at the University of Wisconsin and with developing marine propulsion systems at ABB. Henrik enjoys mountainous adventures and competes in cross-country skiing.

Lars is a software and control engineer with a passion for optimizing software performance and prototyping. He holds a master’s degree in cybernetics from NTNU and is also a trained electrician. Lars loves being at sea. Growing up on the southern coast of Norway, he has extensive boating experience and has competed in sailing at a high international level, making him the company’s preferred captain

Martin is part of the software and control engineer team. He enjoys working with embedded Linux and making stuff spin with programming. He holds an MSc. in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, with a specialization in autonomous systems. Martin is a skilled drone pilot and photographer, and he also spends a lot of his free time playing the piano in a band.

Johann works as a design engineer specializing in product development. He holds a bachelor in product design and is passionate about transforming ideas into tangible products. Johann is a skilled 3D designer and spends a lot of time designing and 3D printing his own designs.
